MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) announced a change in  the United Airlines schedule at MHT— flights to Washington, D.C., will replace the current route to Newark/New York.

Starting  March  30,  2025,  United   Airlines  will   offer  twice-daily  flights  to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and pause the twice-daily flights to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

“This route swap will bring the highly-requested route to Dulles back to MHT,” said Airport Director Ted Kitchens, A.A.E. “This will open up 65  domestic and international destinations with just one quick stop in  D.C. We are excited to have United’s nonstop flight to Dulles back on our map, and we think this will be a great route for our passengers as they visit our nation’s capital and as they connect to the rest of the world. We also acknowledge that this leaves MHT without a nonstop flight to the New York  area, but we are working with our airlines to bring a nonstop flight to New York back to MHT in the future.”

United’s route to Dulles will open up one-stop connections to places across the country,  including popular destinations  such as Denver,  Los   Angeles,  Las Vegas, and Seattle, as well as places around the globe, including Tokyo, Aruba, London, Dublin, and Frankfurt.

United  Airlines previously paused service  to Washington,  D.C., in  November 2021 due to staffing and other operational constraints impacting their regional flying partners.
