“During Covid we all did a lot of self-searching, and we all did a lot of thinking, and I was thinking ‘I really love my job,’ I would have been happy to finish out my career and retire as an English teacher,” Millar said. “I love helping people and I love working with people but I felt like I’m only doing that in half of the way that I could be. I felt like there is something else I could be doing.”

In the inaugural presentation for the 2024 Nashua Community Lecture Series, Professor David Hollander gave his presentation at the Nashua Center for the Arts.  He is the author of “ HOW BASKETBALL CAN SAVE THE WORLD – 13 Guiding Principles for Reimaging What’s Possible,” which was the basis for his presentation.

The Nashua Area Artists Association (NAAA) held its 71st annual art show at  Greeley Park this weekend. Artist from New Hampshire and around New England set up their tents and booths on the lawn of Nashua’s venerable park for this long-time summer tradition.

Nashua held its first Summer Stroll event downtown on Saturday.  Main Street was blocked off from the East and West Pearl intersection, two blocks to the Factory/Temple intersection. and became a large pedestrian mall. The space was filled with vendor tents, a bandstand, multiple food trucks, and art activity areas. Mother Nature provided a classic warm summer afternoon with a pleasant breeze.
