The fair is held each April, adjacent to Earth Day, to showcase the resources, organizations, projects, and sustainability practices from around the Nashua area. The event included about two dozen exhibitors, and an Eco market where various artists and farmers offered eco-friendly products. There was a seed library and kids’ art activities.

The six-month study, led by designLAB architects, examines options to address the library’s aging building, including renovating the space or building new, and a comprehensive cost model and estimates for each approach. The results could pave the way for a revitalized library that better serves our community.

LOTE4Kids is an online database of eBooks in world languages that allows kids to enjoy the magic of  books in LOTE (Languages Other Than English). The platform offers over 4,500 eBooks in 70 languages,  including the most spoken languages in the school district: Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Telugu, and  Vietnamese.

“What a great reading year Nashua had! We read nearly 44,000 more books than last year,” library director Jennifer McCormack said. “The top 10 most borrowed books show that we love reading about people (especially women) succeeding and thriving despite hardships, and suspenseful crime stories.
