So, largely our federal funding. goes to our most at-risk kids. It is students from low-income families. It is students who are homeless. It is students with social and emotional needs.”

“I believe very deeply that the reason we have the housing shortage that we have, the reason we have some of the problems that we encounter, is that we have a community that is safe, and that’s, like, number one – the police department and everyone else does a great job. We have a community that is safe, a community that people want to live in, and that’s why we have the housing pressure that we do, because more people want to live here than are leaving. And so, we’re fortunate in that regard, and I feel privileged to be the mayor of a city like Nashua.”
