Police: Nashua man used stolen wire cutters from Home Depot to cut tags from items lifted from Burlington Coat Factory

MANCHESTER, NH – A Nashua man was arrested after an incident on December 7, 2024, involving the alleged theft of wire cutters from Home Depot on March Avenue police say he stole to cut tags off items taken from Burlington Coat Factory.

An asset protection specialist told arriving officers that around 8 p.m., a man entered the store, went to the tool section, grabbed a pair of wire cutters, and headed to the employee break room. While in the  break room the man began clipping tags off of items he had been concealing under his coat. An employee told him he wasn’t allowed in the break room and he left the store.

Outside, the asset protection specialist approached him and asked him to give the wire clippers back. The  man then shoved the clippers at the employee’s chest and ran. 

Officers located the suspect, identified as Dozibrin, 51, of Nashua in a parked vehicle on  South Willow Street. Dozibrin attempted to run from officers and physically resisted arrest before ultimately  being taken into custody. 

It was determined that the items Dozibrin had concealed under his coat were from Burlington Coat  Factory on South Willow Street. 

Dozibrin was charged with Robbery, Theft by Unauthorized Taking, and Resisting Arrest. It was also  noted that Dozibrin had been arrested two days earlier for an unarmed robbery at Walmart where he  fought with a detail officer. He was subsequently charged with breach of bail.
