NASHUA, NH – The following arrest logs were provided by Nashua Police Department.


November 21, 2024

Massachusetts man arrested on a felony warrant for Theft by Deception

On November 21, 2024, The Nashua Police Department arrested 26-year-old Christopher Richardson of Framingham Massachusetts on a felony warrant for Theft by Deception, a Class A Felony.

On July 30, 2024, officers responded to the Tobacco Outlet at 292 Daniel Webster Highway for allegations of two individuals conducting fraudulent purchases. Officers learned two males had made multiple purchases at the store with different credit cards during the past several days. Officers made contact with one of the suspects and identified him as Richardson.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation. Detectives were able to verify the charges made by Richardson were all alleged to be fraudulent transactions by the bank. The total value of merchandise alleged to have been fraudulently purchased was $6,678.82. Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Richardson charging him with the Theft by Deception, a Class A Felony. The investigation is ongoing for the second male involved.

Richardson was held without bail and was arraigned at the 9th Circuit – District Division –Nashua Court, on November 22, 2024, at 1 p.m.


November 25, 2024

Nashua man charged with Stalking, Domestic Violence, Tampering with Witnesses and Informants 

On November 25, 2024, The Nashua Police Department arrested 51-year-old Stephen Stuart, of Nashua, New Hampshire, for 2 counts of Stalking; Domestic Violence; Order; Subsequent Offense, a Class B Felony, Violation of Protective Order, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Tampering with Witnesses and Informants, a Class B Felony.

On November 22, 2024, the Nashua Police Department arrested Stephen Stuart for multiple misdemeanor level Domestic Violence related charges. Stuart was transported to the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. Upon release from jail, he was issued a Criminal Bail Protection Order.

On November 25, 2024, the victim contacted the Nashua Police Department and reported Stuart contacted her on November 24, 2024, while he was in the Hillsborough County House of Corrections. The victim told officers Stuart had told her to go to court and lie for him. On November 25, 2024, the victim again contacted the Nashua Police Department and reported Stuart was within her apartment building attempting to gather belongings. Officers responded to the area and located Stuart within the building and Stuart was placed under arrest.

The Nashua Police Department Domestic Violence Unit was notified of the incident and was assigned to further the investigation. After the investigation it was determined that Stuart would be charged with Stalking: Domestic Violence; Order; Subsequent Offense and Tampering with Witnesses and Informants. While in custody, Stuart was served a Protection Order, in which the same victim was the protected party and Stuart was the defendant. Stuart later contacted the victim via telephone again while in custody and was additionally charged with Stalking;
Domestic Violence; Order; Subsequent Offense and Violation of Protection Order.

Stuart was held on no bail pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit District Division Nashua Court on November 26, 2024, at 1 p.m.


November 26, 2024

Nashua woman arrested for theft released on bail

On November 25, 2024, The Nashua Police Department arrested 30-year-old Brittanie Shemchuk, of no fixed address in Nashua, on a felony warrant for Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer (2 Prior Convictions), a Class B Felony.

On May 26, 2024, officers responded to Hannaford Supermarket, 175 Coliseum Avenue for the report of a theft. Officers were able to identify the suspect as Brittanie Shemchuk through video surveillance. Officers learned that Shemchuk had two previous theft-related convictions. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were assigned to further the investigation and completed an arrest warrant for Shemchuk.

Shemchuk was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, on January 8, 2025, at 1 p.m.


November 26, 2024

Massachusetts woman arrested on felony warrant for Issuing Bad Checks released on bail

On November 26, 2024, The Nashua Police Department arrested 56-year-old Angela Cassettari of Gloucester, Massachusetts, on a felony warrant for Issuing Bad Checks, a Class A Felony.

On May 6, 2024, a patrol officer took a report from a business for a bad check being presented for payment. Detectives from the Criminal Investigation were assigned to further the investigation and determined that Cassettari had issued a check for more than $1500.00 from a closed bank account. The investigation resulted in an arrest warrant being issued for Cassettari charging her with Issuing Bad Checks and Theft of Services, both Class A Felonies.

Cassettari was released on personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit District Court- Nashua, on January 8, 2025, at 1 pm.
