NASHUA, NH – Nashua police have issued the following arrest updates for Aug. 14-18.
August 14, 2024
New York woman charged with identity fraud
Nashua Police Department arrested Kathleen Tiller, 63, of Rockaway, NY, for Identity Fraud, a Class A Felony, Falsifying Physical Evidence, a Class B Felony, Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer (attempted), a Class A Felony, two counts of Resisting Detention, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Fugitive from Justice for being wanted out of New York for Fraud related offenses.
On August 14, 2024, Nashua Police responded to NBT Bank, 221 Main St for the report of identity fraud and attempted theft, in which a female, identified as Kathleen Tiller attempted to withdraw $2,300 from an account that did not belong to her.
Officers located Tiller who already left the bank walking in the immediate area and when they approached her, she refused to stop walking and threw evidence related to the crime under a parked vehicle on West Pear St. Tiller was arrested by officers on-scene and charged with the above offenses.
Tiller was held on preventative detention and held at the Hillsborough County House of Correction pending her arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, which was held on August 15, 2024, at 1 PM.

Man accused of theft from Target
Christian Clemons, 31, of Salem, was arrested on a felony warrant for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
On May 12, 2023, officers took a report of a theft from Target, 310 Daniel Webster Highway. The theft of merchandise from Target totaled $1,767.23.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation and were able to identify Clemons as the suspect. Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Clemons charging him with Theft by Unauthorized Taking or Transfer.
Clemons was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, on September 11, 2024, at 1 PM.

Hudson man faces domestic violence charges
Chase Marable, 20, of Hudson, was arrested for Domestic Violence—Criminal Threatening, a Class B Felony; two counts of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault, a Class A Misdemeanor, six counts of Stalking – Domestic Violence, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Criminal Mischief, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On August 15, 2024, officers responded to Extended Stay America, 2000 Southwood Drive Room 103 for the report of a Domestic assault. The victim, a 19-year-old female, reported being in contact with Marable, a former intimate partner, despite a court order prohibiting Marable from contacting her. The victim reported a verbal argument ensued in the hotel room that escalated into Marable pulling her hair and pushing her into a wall. The victim also reported that Marable picked up a steak knife and threatened her before eventually ripping a necklace from her neck and leaving the area.
Detectives from the Special Investigations Division furthered the investigation, spoke with witnesses and then completed a search warrant for the hotel room.
Marable was located at the Nashua District Court later on the day of the incident, and officers placed him under arrest.
Marable was held on preventative detention pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court which was held on August 16, 2024, at 1 p.m.

August 16, 2024
Man faces second-degree assault with deadly weapon charge
Eric Baker, 41, No Fixed Address, was arrested on a felony warrant for Second Degree Assault, Deadly Weapon.
On August 10, 2024, officers responded to a homeless encampment near Pine Street Extension for the report of an assault involving a weapon. The victim, a 54-year-old male, suffered multiple injuries that included several broken bones. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation. Detectives were able to speak to the victim who described the incident as well as the suspect. Detectives completed witness interviews and obtained video surveillance and were able to identify Baker as the suspect in the investigation. An arrest warrant was applied for and granted charging Baker with Second Degree Assault. When Baker was located by officers he ran from them attempting to avoid being arrested, Baker was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest.
Baker was held on $500 cash bail and will be arraigned at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, on August 19th, 2024, at 1 PM.

Woman charged with using fake ID at local bank
Jennifer Poirier, 39, of South China, Maine, was arrested on a felony warrant for theft by deception.
On February 12, 2024, Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Nashua Police Department learned of a theft from a local area bank. They furthered the investigation and identified Jennifer Poirier as the suspect who was responsible for withdrawing $7,500 from the bank using fake identification.
Based on the investigation Poirier was charged with Identify Fraud and Theft by Deception. Poirier had an outstanding arrest warrant from Maine and was additionally charged with Fugitive from Justice from the State of Maine.
Poirier refused bail and was held at the Hillsborough County House of Correction pending her arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, on August 19, 2024, at 1 PM.

August 18, 2024
Woman charged with criminal trespass and robbery
Shanaya Scott, 38, No Fixed Address, was arrested on a felony warrant for robbery.
On May 25, 2024, officers took a report from a female victim that she was restrained and assaulted while a male and female known to her stole her personal belongings. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital. The victim identified the suspects as Shanaya Scott and Remi Barrera.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were assigned to further the investigation. Detectives executed a search warrant on Barrera’s residence. At the end of the investigation, Detectives applied for and were granted arrest warrants for both Scott and Barrera. Barrera was arrested on May 28, 2024, and was charged with kidnapping and robbery.
On August 18, 2024, officers located Scott at 23 Temple St. where she was previously trespassed and she was additionally charged with criminal trespass at the time of her arrest.
Scott was held on Preventative Detention and held at the Hillsborough County House of Correction pending her arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, on August 19, 2024, at 1 PM.
