Police blotter: Man faces domestic violence charges

NASHUA, NH – On August 7, 2024, The Nashua Police Department arrested Frederick Churchville, 35, of Nashua, who is charged with felony second-degree assault (strangulation) – domestic violence and misdemeanor domestic violence simple assault. 

On August 7, 2024, officers responded to a domestic assault involving Churchville and an adult female victim known to him.  The victim reported that Churchville had physically assaulted and strangled her at his residence.  Officers placed Churchville under arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence – simple Assault.

Detectives assigned to the Special Investigations Division furthered the investigation.  As a result of the investigation, Churchville was additionally charged with one count of felony second-degree assault (strangulation) – domestic violence. 

Churchville was held at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections on Preventative Detention pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court, which was held on August 8, 2024.
