Police blotter: Man faces charges in 3 separate incidents – a theft at the shelter and burglary (x2) at Martha’s Exchange

NASHUA, NH – On July 30, 2024, the Nashua Police Department arrested Stephane Webster, 51, for two counts of burglary and one count of theft by unauthorized taking (2+ prior convictions), all class B felonies.

On July 11, 2024, officers took a report at the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter that a man had stolen items from another individual’s purse while at the shelter.  

On July 19, 2024, and again on July 30, 2024, officers took a report from an employee of Martha’s Exchange at 185 Main St. that the business had been burglarized.  Each burglary involved a male entering the restaurant while it was closed, and stealing bottles of alcohol.  Officers were able to identify the male suspect in all of these incidents as Webster.      

Webster refused bail and he is scheduled to appear at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on July 31, 2024, at 1 p.m.
