NASHUA, NH – The following incidents were reported by Nashua Police. Note: All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty following due process of the law.
November 6, 2024
Nashua Police Department arrested Christopher Peak, 55, of Nashua. He was charged with: three counts of Domestic Violence – Second Degree Assault (Strangulation), Class B Felony, four counts of Domestic Violence – Simple Assault, Class A Misdemeanor, and Stalking – Domestic Violence, Class A Misdemeanor.
Police narrative: On November 6, 2024, patrol officers responded to a residence for the report of a Domestic Assault where the victim stated they were assaulted by Peak. During the investigation, officers learned Peak had allegedly violated a previously issued Domestic Violence Criminal Order of Protection by contacting the victim. Peak was taken into custody by officers.
Detectives with the Special Investigations Division were assigned to further the investigation. Based on their investigation peak was charged with the alleged above listed crimes.
Peak refused bail and was held at the Hillsborough County Jail until his arraignment which was held on November 7, 2024, at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court.
November 7, 2024
Charles Morrison, 56, of Nashua, was arrestd on a felony warrant for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images, a Class A Felony.
During a multi-year investigation, detectives assigned to the Cybercrimes Against Children Unit received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about the exploitation of children through the use of the Internet. During their investigation, detectives identified Morrison as the person of interest associated with the alleged exploitation. Detectives were granted a search warrant and seized electronic devices belonging to Morrison. During a forensic examination of the
devices, they were able to develop probable cause to apply for an arrest warrant charging Morrison with five counts of Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Images.
Morrison was released on $1,000 cash bail pending an arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division –
Nashua Court on December 10, 2024, at 1 p.m.
November 8, 2024
Avery Kimball, 29, of Rye, was arrested on a felony warrant for Theft by Unauthorized Taking, a Class A Felony.
On July 11, 2024, officers took a report of a theft by a contractor. The victim reported in April she located Kimball online to complete a project at her home. Kimball took a $5,000 deposit for the project, and never returned to complete the job.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division were assigned to further the investigation. Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Kimball charging him with Theft by Unauthorized Taking.
The Massachusetts State Police arrested Kimball on the Nashua Police Department arrest warrant. Kimball was later extradited to New Hampshire where he was taken into custody by the Nashua Police Department.
Kimball was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 1 p.m.
November 10, 2024
Paula Gregoire, 57, of Nashua was arrested for Forgery (Check), a Class B Felony, and two counts of Receiving Stolen Property, both Class B Felonies.
On November 10, 2024, Officers took a report from a male victim that Gregoire had stolen $60 from his wallet and forged his signature to a check and then cashed the check. Officers arrested Gregoire on-scene and Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation.
Gregoire was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on Monday January 2, 2025, at 1 p.m.
