Man out on bail charged with theft from Target

NASHUA, NH – On September 27, 2024, the Nashua Police Department arrested Rodney Maulding, 37, (no fixed address) on a felony warrant for theft by unauthorized taking (two prior convictions) while currently out on bail from unrelated charges.

On August 11, 2024, patrol officers responded to Target on Daniel Webster Highway for the report of a theft.  The store employee told officers Maulding ran when he was confronted for stealing.  The officers were able to positively identify him through surveillance video, from previous police contact. 

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division furthered the investigation.  Detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Maulding charging him with the theft. 

Maudling was held on $200 cash bail and he is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on September 30, 2024, at 1 p.m.
