
NASHUA, NH – On May 28, 2024, the Nashua Police Department arrested Remi Barrera, 36, of Nashua, New Hampshire for Robbery, a Class A felony, and kidnapping, a Class B Felony.

On May 25, 2024, officers took a report from a victim that a person known to her, Barrera, and a female assaulted her and stole her belongings. The victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries was treated at a local hospital. She reported Barrera and the female beat her with their hands and an object she believed to be a hammer. When she tried to leave, Barrera restrained her and they stole her property.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division were assigned to further the investigation. Detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for Barrera’s residence. During the search, evidence was located related to the alleged crimes.
The female suspect has been identified and an arrest warrant is pending.
Barrera was held on preventative detention pending his arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on May 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
