NASHUA, NH — Harbor Care was recently awarded a two-year, $15,000 grant from the Nordson Corporation Foundation to support veterans experiencing or at-risk of homelessness.
“We extend our deep gratitude to the Nordson Corporation Foundation for this generous donation,” said Henry Och, President & CEO. “Nordson’s gift will support the expansion of our basic services, employment services, and our suicide prevention program. Our goal is to ensure that no veteran in NH is left without access to the housing, healthcare, and employment opportunities they need to rebuild their lives.”
In the upcoming year, Harbor Care plans to serve 500 veterans throughout the state and will continue working with local state and federal partners to reduce veteran homelessness across New Hampshire, with the ultimate goal of ending it entirely.
