NASHUA, NH – Make sure you’ve cleared your calendar for the Nov. 30 Annual Winter Holiday Stroll, which takes over the downtown every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

The event began with a small congregation of passionate Nashuans enjoying a candle lit stroll along the sidewalks from City Hall to the Hunt memorial building. The Stroll has grown to one of the largest holiday celebrations in the region, attracting over 25,000 strollers each year.

Led by Santa & Mrs. Claus the stroll encompasses Main Street featuring the city Christmas Tree lighting at the Hunt Memorial Building, dozens of indoor and outdoor performers, great food, fun games, attractions, live ice sculpture carving, and more. Many look forward to this event as a homecoming in the heart of Nashua – greeting familiar faces along a large area of Downtown that is closed to pedestrian traffic for the evening. This event is presented in partnership by the City of Nashua, and Great American Downtown.

Nashua’s Winter Holiday Stroll would not be possible without the support of many talented performers, community groups, our business community, and city staff.

This year a new addition: Artist & Artisans Holiday Bazaar, and open air market during the Stroll featuring a wide variety of local products and art!

Our Downtown is the special place it is, because of all the people who pour their love into building a sense of community. We appreciate all of our enthusiastic readers, visitors, non-profits, artists and performers, and all of the businesses large and small who share a vision for this evermore vibrant heart of our city.
