While Andrade informed the community that every family enrolled in the Title 1 preschool would  “…have the opportunity for a preschool experience next year,” and that “…all the administrators were cognizant of making sure that all the families are going to be supported during this transition,” several families say this is not the case.

Title 1 program director Cherrie Fulton announced during Tuesday’s Board of Education meeting that the Title I funding allocation will be decreased from $4.6 million in the 2023-2024 school year to $4.2 million for the 2024-2025 school year.
