Currently, a new business can deduct $5,000 in start-up expenses. She called for a tenfold increase to a $50,000 deduction and a reduction in red tape to incentivize new business formation.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker traveled to the Granite State over the weekend to campaign for the Harris-Walz ticket and local democrats. On Sunday he addressed a crowd of local activists and candidates gathered in a Bedford backyard to kick off the Labor Day weekend of canvassing and political events.
In the inaugural presentation for the 2024 Nashua Community Lecture Series, Professor David Hollander gave his presentation at the Nashua Center for the Arts. He is the author of “ HOW BASKETBALL CAN SAVE THE WORLD – 13 Guiding Principles for Reimaging What’s Possible,” which was the basis for his presentation.
“Before the new temporary lab in the Manchester Field office and now this new facility evidence for federal drug cases in New Hampshire had to be sent to the New York Regional lab. This added time and logistical challenges in investigations. The new lab will speed up analysis and add efficiency to the process” said Senator Shaheen.
