NASHUA, NH – In celebration of National Volunteer Week, the Nashua Mayor’s Volunteer Recognition Committee proudly announces the opening of nominations for the Gate City Light Award. This annual accolade shines a spotlight on Nashua organizations and their dedicated volunteers who embody the spirit of community service and have made significant impacts on the lives of Nashua residents.
Nominations for the Gate City Light Award are now being accepted until April 27, 2024. Individuals passionate about a nonprofit organization based in Nashua or serving the Nashua community are encouraged to participate by filling out a brief survey available here.
Respondents will have the opportunity to share anecdotes about their positive experiences with the organization they are nominating, and explain why they choose to support it, whether as volunteers, advocates, or donors. The information gathered will help the award-granting committee make informed decisions.
