There has been a lot of talk about the housing crisis in New Hampshire, and with the cost of housing so high, this can make the already daunting prospect of finding a place to live – let alone ever owning a home – seem that much more unattainable.
After six weeks of bus assignment issues, Superintendent Mario Andrade said a new communication will go out to families Tuesday prompting them to check the family portal for bus updates.
“During Covid we all did a lot of self-searching, and we all did a lot of thinking, and I was thinking ‘I really love my job,’ I would have been happy to finish out my career and retire as an English teacher,” Millar said. “I love helping people and I love working with people but I felt like I’m only doing that in half of the way that I could be. I felt like there is something else I could be doing.”
“Step one task two includes a couple next steps that are really important for understanding further the viability of this project,” Sullivan said. “We believe we need this new information around ridership and cost to really understand what this project means for the city of Nashua.”

“I drive by homelessness all the time and I know sometimes people think that’s all they’re going to be and it’s not true, because that was me years ago, walking around homeless, everything I owned in a laundry bag,” said Nashua resident Jordan Duran.
“My two children and many others are still without bus transportation and not getting very much information from the district at all about what to expect or when it can be resolved or what we should do,” said Erica Proto, a mother of two children in the Nashua school district.
After seven months of renovations, Arlington Street Community Center is ready to welcome the community during their grand reopening tomorrow, Sept. 13, with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. and open house from 5 to 7 p.m.
