Some of you will already know that one of the people responsible for the existence of this entire industry hails from right here in New Hampshire. OK, he wasn’t born here, but he made his home here, in Manchester, and worked for many years in Nashua, which is possibly more significant. Ralph Baer’s life was really quite remarkable.

Very comfortable space, much deeper than wide, bar at the back. Maybe 8 stools at the bar. Plenty of tables, some high tops, some low. Some soft chairs near the front. The front is all plate glass giving an expansive east-facing view of Main Street. A bar-height counter runs across the inside of this window, fronted with plenty of stools so you can sit sipping your beer and gazing out at Main Street.

Back in early January I wrote that Nashua’s Spyglass Brewing was preparing brand new and much larger space near exit 1. Today I can report that the beer gods have smiled upon us: their new space is now fully up and running, brewing is happening, and the bar and kitchen are open to serve the public.
