Belletetes to host month-long food drive to support the NH Food Bank’s fight to end hunger

For the second year, Belletetes is collecting food for Granite Staters experiencing hunger at all 10 of its locations; last year Belletetes collected a total 43,484 pounds of food for those in need

Belletetes is partnering with NH Food Bank to collect food for those in need.

NASHUA, NH – Belletetes, a NH-based family-owned and operated lumber and building supply company is hosting a month-long food drive at all 10 of its locations starting August 1 in support of the New Hampshire Food Bank.

Last year, Belletetes collected 43,484 pounds of food to support the thousands of New Hampshire residents in need. Belletetes will also supplement food donations with a monetary contribution to the New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of Catholic Charities New Hampshire. Food can be dropped of at any store, in designated collection bins.

“Last year Belletetes made an incredible impact on the lives of those experiencing hunger in New Hampshire,” said Eileen Liponis, executive director, New Hampshire Food Bank.

Belletetes will deliver all items to the New Hampshire Food Bank in September, in recognition of Hunger Action Month.

“Through the support of our employees and the community we serve, we were able to donate 43,484 pounds of food last September during Hunger Action Month—the largest single-day corporate food drive donation to the Food Bank to date,” said Mike Shea, president, Belletetes Inc. “This September, we look forward to another successful food drive to benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank and the more than 400 partner agencies it supports throughout the state.”

  • 121 Whittier Hwy, Moultonborough, NH
  • 89 Rte 13, Brookline, NH
  • 245 Central St, Winchendon, MA

The New Hampshire Food Bank is asking individuals and businesses to consider donating canned fruits, canned vegetables, dried or canned proteins, packaged nuts or nut butters, whole grains, or other shelf stable products.
