NASHUA, NH – St. Joseph Hospital is looking for teams for this year’s Survivor Olympics at Holman Stadium in Nashua on Saturday, August 3 from 1 – 4 p.m.   This is going to be a super fun day full of ‘field-day’ style competitions that you may remember from elementary school – during which 20 teams will compete against each other to earn points, both towards raffle prizes as well as a $200 cash prize for the top team!

ANYONE in the community can create a team of up to four people (all ages welcome, kids included – all of the events are accessible for all ability levels) – the only caveat is that you must have at least one cancer survivor on your team or your team can be playing in honor of a cancer survivor (Example: mom is a survivor, but is unable to play, so dad and three kids play on her behalf.)

HOWEVER – you can also sign up as an individual or couple – and we will add you/combine you with other players to form a team.

TO REGISTER either as a team or as an individual, just click here.

Here are the finer points:

  • The cost to sign up as a 4 person team is $20.  But you can also sign up as a single for just $5.
  • We will cap the event at 20 teams, so register early!
  • Each team will earn points by rotating through a series of field-day-style challenges like the egg and spoon race, giant Connect 4, Frisbee toss, and more – and depending on your performance, you will earn both points and tickets that can be placed into buckets at the end for a chance to win some great raffle prizes.
  • There will be a grand prize of $200 cash for the team that scores the most points throughout the day.
  • At the end of the challenges, we will have a FREE BBQ at the stadium, including adult beverages for purchase.
