NASHUA, NH – Play It Forward is back, baby! This beloved live music tradition in the Greater Nashua region is back and better than ever. The Nashua Community Music School (NCMS) biggest concert of the year will return on Saturday, August 24 at 2 p.m. This family-friendly outdoor concert will feature 3 bands playing classic rock and pop from the last 50 years, all headlined by local rock & roll legends, Aces & Eights!
Play It Forward returns to the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten, located at 221 Daniel Webster Hwy. in Merrimack, from 2-5pm. This afternoon concert will be held outside in the beautiful Biergarten tent and greenway, with 2 stages so fans can enjoy nonstop music– all while sipping drinks (first one is free!) and food from Bentley’s Famous BBQ (also included with each ticket). New this year, Play It Forward will open with the NCMS Teen Rock Band and showcase art and music created by 33 students from across the summer. As always, concert-goers can expect a mix of awesome originals and hit songs from the NCMS House Band, made up of 16 top teachers and students, all leading up to a monster set by longtime Nashua favorites, Aces and Eights.
“We think of Play It Forward as more of a “Friendraiser” rather than a “fundraiser,” said Lindsay Rinaldi, Executive Director of NCMS. “This event brings together anyone who cares about the future of live music. Whether you’re a musician yourself or an avid concert-goer, we all must unite to support the next generation of musicians. All you have to do is show up ready to kick off your shoes and dance. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the end of summer.”
Advance tickets for this rain or shine event are highly recommended, since tickets will only be available at the door until they sell out. To buy tickets, visit nashuacms.org/playitforward.
