At Home and Abroad: Nashua and World War II – a documentary for and about Nashuans

NASHUA, NH – At Home and Abroad: Nashua and World War II is the highly anticipated documentary that people in the Greater Nashua area have been waiting to see.  This locally produced and professionally developed oral history project features Nashua’s WWII veterans, homefront civilians, and Holocaust survivors.

The film lasts approximately one hour and is free to view at The Nashua Historical Society, Speare Museum Library, 5 Abbott St., Nashua, NH 03064.

In conjunction with the documentary, the exhibit World War II in Nashua: The Homefront and Beyond will be open to visitors. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.

Screening: 1 – 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Nashua Historical Society’s Speare Museum Library

Stay later and visit Nashua’s historic Abbot-Spalding House from 2:30 – 4 p.m. Currently on special exhibit are 1940s-era gowns, uniforms, and other artifacts from the Nashua Historical Society’s collection.
