
NASHUA, NH – The Nashua Adult Learning Center (ALC) announces Sharon Wilson to serve as their new Director of Clearway High School. “We could not be more pleased to have Sharon join our team at the ALC. Not only does her experience in educational leadership span decades, but she knows our community well,” says Carol Baldwin, Executive Director of ALC.
Wilson is an experienced educational leader with extensive expertise in curriculum development, school administration, and teaching. A proud Nashua native, Wilson was educated in the Nashua Public Schools and has dedicated her career to serving the community that shaped her. She spent 15 years teaching English, first at Goffstown Area High School and later at Manchester High School Central, where she developed a passion for student-centered learning and educational equity.
She transitioned into administration, serving as assistant principal at Central and then at Nashua High School North. During her tenure at North, Sharon built strong relationships with students, families, and local organizations. She collaborated closely with Clearway High School to support youth and expand access to educational opportunities. She also served as the Education Chair for the Mayor’s Welcoming City Task Force, where she championed equity, inclusion, and community engagement throughout the City of Nashua.
“Sharon’s commitment to her students’ success, both during and after high school, are what she will bring to our students at Clearway. Her knowledge and experience are critical skills that will move our vision for Clearway forward,” says Chief Operating Officer, Gail Casey.
Wilson recently served as principal at both Raymond High School and the Seacoast School of Technology before moving into her most recent role as Curriculum Coordinator in Milford. Wilson is deeply committed to removing barriers to student success and believes in the power of rigorous, personalized education within a supportive, inclusive school culture that embraces staff, students, families, and the wider community.
Wilson holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (C.A.G.S.) in Principal Certification from New England College, a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Secondary School English, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English.
