PUBLISHER'S CORNER

Karen and Matt Smith in Glacier National Park, Montana.
I just found out it's American Adventure Month - and so with what's left of it I should probably try to do a mini-version of what Karen and Matt Smith did: They visited all 63 U.S. National Parks and it only took them 3 years.

The Smiths, in their 60s, figured out that life's too short not to see the world, and that's just what they set out to do.

I don't think I will ever get to repeat their journey but I will consider how to build some more adventures into my life.

The Soapbox: Ben Ming will find common ground and deliver for all Granite Staters

The Soapbox: Ben Ming will find common ground and deliver for all Granite Staters

For the last four years, elected officials have prioritized extreme policies that attack our rights and freedoms, sow discord, and are fundamentally counter to who we are as Granite Staters. That’s why in this year’s election, I’m supporting Representative Ben Ming for State Senate, because he is the candidate who will focus on the issues that really matter to Granite Staters and he has a demonstrated record of delivering for his constituents.
