PUBLISHER'S CORNER

I can't think of a better way to end this week than to share my good fortune with you.

I would like to add that fortune cookies should be called life-affirming biscuits. If they were actual fortune cookies they would give you something to take to the bank, like "Bet on the Texas Rangers to win the 2023 World Series."

Anyway, my "fortune" from last night's dinner reflects what I believe: To be hopeful is to see the potential for positive change in every situation."

I try to remain hopeful at every turn. I do see the potential for positive change. That's something we can all do, cookie or no cookie.
